Environmental protection property:VM is a physical reaction, so it has no harm to the environmental. But the galvanic plating need to use chemical solution which will pollute the environmental.As our government are stricter about environmental protection, many galvanic plating factories have been banned.
Safety:the VM layer is only 50 nanometers,so it is free from any risk. But the thickness of the galvanic plating is 6-7 μm; if being peeled, it may hurt human body.
Applicability: VM is applicable from 90% to 95% of plastic material at current market, but galvanic plating is only suitable for ABS or ABS+PC material. Besides,we can achieve all the colors we need by VM while galvanic plating can achieve the colors that are similar to silver.
